I'd like to choose to start my connection on column D instead of column A.

Hi Sheetgo,

So, I was thinking about this feature that I’d really love to have in Sheetgo. You know how we can choose which row we want our data to start from? Well, I was thinking, wouldn’t it be awesome if we could do the same thing with columns? Like, I could choose to start my connection on column D instead of column A.

I mean, come on, wouldn’t that be super helpful? I know I’m not the only one who has had to deal with a wonky spreadsheet where the data starts in the wrong column.

Is this something that’s possible? Can we make it happen? Let me know if you have any tips or tricks for working around this in the meantime.

While this specific feature is not currently available in Sheetgo, I wanted to inform you that there is another user request in our community that shares a similar need. It addresses the ability to offset columns and specify a destination range for data connections. You can find it here:

In the meantime, I would recommend trying a workaround using the “Filter by condition” feature. This feature allows you to selectively import specific columns you want to include in the import. It may provide a temporary solution while we work on implementing the requested feature.
