One of the new templates that Sheetgo has come up with is for Recruitment
Once you install the template the workflow should look something like this
You can find this in the template gallery - or use this link to directly go to the template
A detailed description of how to operate the template can be found in the Notes section of the workflow - you can add to these notes as well and customize it to keep track of your process
To start working with the template first clear out all the sample data from the sheet
Some columns have formulas in them usually in the header - these columns will be greyed out - while clearing out the data be careful not to remove the formulas
Go to the forms section of the workflow - the forms help in streamlining and standardizing the data entry into sheets - you will have 3 forms to run the system
- Record any new positions which open up in the company - this needs to be posted as a new recruitment request
- For one such request you can have one or more openings - for example you can hire 3 people as software developers
- Mark a new request as Open - then you can start taking in applications for it
- When a new request is submitted you can then tag multiple candidates to it - so lets say you have to hire 3 software developers, you can tag the CV’s of 10 people for those 3 roles
- For each of these candidates - you can then update the status of the candidate as they are navigating the different stages of the interview process
- Once a vacancy has been filled out you can mark it Closed
- For a particular candidate you can look at all the stages that they have passed through and their final hiring result
All the different form dropdown options can be customized via the Parameters tab on the sheet
The template is easy to install and start with - since all the data is recorded on google sheets you can further analyze the data as per your needs.
