How to properly order by date on a consolidate?

Hi guys,

Struggling to get this set up properly.

I have three files that feed a consolidation.

All have a date column.

If I apply a query to order by date in asc or desc, it's only applied to each file but not the entire consolidation.

Meaning my entire consolidation is not ordered by date as desired but only its sub-pieces.

Can this be fixed somehow?

Tommy yes I did and exactly this is not working properly on a consolidate.

@David not possible as of yet. Marking as feature request.

As a workaround, create another connection that uses the consolidate output as an input and then apply your final sort query there.

@David This is related to how sheetgo processes the files. It actually first applies the filter (hence the sorting) before joining them all together. Small chunks of information are easier to process than one big chunk. So, unfortunately, as @Support from Sheetgo said, for now, the only workaround would be to apply the sort on the destination.
